Wine Tasting

Taste is a very personal thing, different wines appeal to different people.

A good wine is one that has been grown in the best conditions,

produced using the best methods and drunk in the best company!

But no matter how “good” a wine is if you don’t like the taste, what good is it?

CONDUCTED TASTINGS

During a tasting you will have the opportunity to taste a selection of between 8-12 wines.

Using one of our Tasting Sheets, award your favourites with

1, 2, or 3 stars, or even higher depending on your taste and add comments as you go along.

Geoff has personally met with most of the growers and has tasted their wines at source and can tell you about their origin, including; growing region, grape variety and methods of production.

Conducted Tastings can be in the comfort of your own home in the company of friends, or at your favourite venue with a larger group or paying guests.

TALKS

&

PRESENTATIONS

Would you like to know

a little more about wine?

Where it comes from?

How it is made?

What to look for in a "good" wine?

Is it ready to drink or should

it be laid down for 10 years?

We can offer one-off talks, or short courses to suit your groups needs.

Contact us to arrange a wine appreciation presentation for your group, with the option to taste, if desired.

Contact us to discuss holding your own tasting and we'll help you

make it an event to remember!

It is best if the tasting is accompanied with light refreshment such as breads, cheese and savoury biscuits, or similar.  This helps to clean the palate between wines and allows the tasting process to be a little more accurate.

After the tasting there will be an opportunity to order any of the wines you have tasted.
